Solicitors Become First Specialist Family Law Firm In Northumberland

A Northumberland law firm has been chosen to become a founder member of a new nationwide organisation, QualitySolicitors.com.

Major Family Law, which was established at the start of 2009, has been selected as one of 100 solicitor firms from across the UK to form the founder membership of the new body, making it the first specialist family law firm in the region.

QualitySolicitors.com is Britain’s first national body aimed at tackling "cut-price" legal advice and promoting the use of genuine solicitor firms .

The site, which is free to use, was set up to aid small to medium- sized firms and will match users to the best solicitor for their particular need.

Joanne Major, of Major Family Law, said: "To be the only specialist family law firm in the region on the membership list is a real coup, especially as our practice has just recently been launched."
